Karen has experienced Travel from the get go. A British citizen, born in Portugal, raised in Thailand, studied in the UK and she is now residing in New Zealand.

Having joined the Waiheke Escapes team in 2022, Karen looks to create memorable travel and stay experiences to the island. She understands the importance for guests of the journey to the final destination.

With a background in guest relations and fashion design, Karen has the eye for detail and is a great asset to the team.

Karen is all about the outdoors, finding the next adventure from the selection of hiking tracks, to going for a run or daring a swim in the cold waters.
